Open Minds But Silent Sounds
Who are we?
Open Minds but Silent Sounds is a creative writing project for young people age 12-16 who are experiencing mental health difficulties. The project aims to offer participants a tool for expression and to raise awareness of mental health.
Where do we do it?
Locally in the territory of North Manchester where the needs to be supported.
Where do we want to go?
Outside the local area, inside the city where the transport is acceptable. Also aim to build it up with other mental health services worldwide.
What is the perceived personality of the company?
O.M.S.S’s personality is vulnerable service for young suffers. It brings an awareness in local areas creative outlet for young people to express their emotions and improve their mental state in the long run.
THE HARD TRUTH
.Even very young children may show early warning signs of mental health concerns. These mental health problems are often clinically diagnosable, and can be a product of the interaction of biological, psychological, and social factors.
